Who should they be buying from us? Ritchie, Lewis and Lascelles?! I just wouldn’t concern yourself with any of it. We were struggling and signed Trippier and Bruno. We were improving and got Botman, Pope and Isak. We’re now in the CL. I’d be incredibly surprised if we ended up with any less than four top quality players.

I think PIF have much bigger plans than just NUFC. They won't see it as helping a rival if it all helps to grow the wider brand.
Agreed, looks to me that they really want to build their own league and what better place to start than the most over bloated squad in the PL?
Are they over inflating the market to come in and buy Lacselles, Hayden, Hendrick and Lewis at £20m a pop? Tbh I think we'll get what we need - windows been open less than a week so far so not time to start panicking yet. Also think we will be looking at 1/2 from the free transfer list on the 30th when contracts expire. Our transfer business is generally a well kept secret now so won't be surprised to be surprised.
Why don’t PIF just offer 10m each for our **** players. Gives us some money & gets the dross out of the squad, might look suspicious but end of the day these Saudi teams might just want Isaac Hayden repping their midfield.
Just basically helping them get out of **** by signing over the hill players such as Koulibaily for stupid money, meaning chelsea clear the wage bill and escape FFP.
