To be fair if you look across the leagues not many transfers done yet. Internationals still taking place, but under 21 games etc.
I think once the season actually finishes then we’ll start to see a few more
Neves agreed 47m deal to go to Saudi. Good fee for wolves for player in final year of deal.
Mentioned how he wants to go play CL football last season, clearly 300k plus a week is more attractive.
Give it a few years and those clubs could be a real competitor to transfers to big European clubs. 4 top clubs they’re owned by gov as well as Newcastle. Could be some interesting deals going on there
delighted he's not coming here.
this Saudi ego trip will reveal what footballers just want money and have no interest in glory.
I seem to recall everyone talked about China as well like this and boom it was cut off
saudi can go **** itself as temps hit 60 degrees.
Couldn’t you say that exact same thing to anyone moving to the prem that doesn’t go to a team that’s likely to win something.
Go from clubs that play in Europe and may win their leagues and cups to clubs in mid/lower prem who won’t win anything but will earn 4 times more

Expect Neves to be loan to Newcastle in the 2nd half of the season or sold to them on the cheap next summerNeves agreed 47m deal to go to Saudi. Good fee for wolves for player in final year of deal.

Only 26,thought he was older.Neves agreed 47m deal to go to Saudi. Good fee for wolves for player in final year of deal.

It does feel like the Saudi's are alot worse than than the others that have come before. Citeh and PSG owners have just bought success for their clubs, but the Saudi's have literally just bought an entire sport so that they can get their own way. At what point will they make a play to control football? Perhaps they'll come up with a Super league of their own in an attempt to 'own' the sport.I presume the 47mil btw is what neves black heart is getting(blood moeny) cos if I heard a player with that little left in his contract was 47mil I'd be wondering what sports doping was going on for wolves.
we all need to see what Saudi did to golf (which is now dead. its a zombie sport with a sole aim of sportswashing)
newcastle need to be clamped down on rapidly but othe rclubs doing deals like Chelsea seeming going to get every penny back they spend in a rather obvious ffp dodge.
if subdistrict own part of or most of the cheslea conglomerate then both clubs should be frozen out right now.
no you can't
1. Brighton example. 20k a week for caicedo. hardly suadi money.
2. joining clubs to move up and try male most of your career and chase the big trophies.
3. the prem and certain European leagues are seen globally as the top leavues to play in. Saudi are not and never will be as they have 4 clubs
you move to try to prove you can move up to the next level.
Given I said players that go from clubs in Europe to lower prem clubs, not sure why you chose caicedo who came from Ecuador.
West Ham being linked with players from Ajax. Fulham signing players from sporting. Telling me they had better chance of glory at their new clubs in prem over Ajax and sporting? Or maybe they moved cos they could double their wages in the prem even at a lower level club than staying where they are .
Not suggesting the Saudi league (at the moment) is brilliant. But players always move clubs for money.
Neves is much more likely to win something at his new club than at wolves.
Everyone mocking Kane for not moving clubs to win something.
Hypocrisy.
so only winning things in England counts !a medal in Holland is so what on the European stage. same for Portuguese medals.
they have to move to progress. its really that simple.
there's a huge difference between semi pro medals that are automatic virtually and 20k a week and then playing in the big leagues against the best players for 50k a week.
they all want to then win big cups and get big money.
the difference is ****ing off to Saudi is retirement. in exactly the dame way as goijlng to China was. you might as well never be heard of again.
