Not sure if anyone has posted a thread but as I’ve not seen one here goes…
Just got a hamper from my daughter in Spain, Cornish hamper company,
Already eaten a pasty… very nice,
Scones for later, mrs red has already claimed the actual hamper it came in.
“HAPPY DADDIES DAY “ you lot, good health and happiness in this next year to come…a promotion to the prem for city would be nice….have a great day…
Decided against a poem, didn’t want to spoil the ambience lol

Had calls of both kids, and Grandkids.
Went to one out of town yesterday for a BBQ and other coming round today with pressies.

All’s well with the world

Happy Father’s Day to the Fathers.
Also thinking of all those who, like me, don’t have their Father alive anymore to see today. (And those who’d like to be a Father but can’t for whatever reason)

Yep how good would it be to sit down with the old man and have a chat

Have you noticed as you get older you find yourself saying things you used to tell your dad he was talking nonsense when he said them? There are a few things I would tell my dad, do you know you had a point, if he was still here.
Tis but true

Just had a chat with my now gone Dad. Gave him a review of the year. Life, grandkids and of course City. Think he’ll be happy enough..
I speak out loud to my Dad most days when I pass the cemetery he’s in, even just to say morning.
I like he’s just up the road from me.
I’ll be there too not too far from him (and my Mum…but hopefully not for a while)
Already bought my next plot of land there!

Ha, what points was he correct on?

Lovely to read that post. I can see you have already purchased your future season pass too. As Bob Hoskins said it’s good to talk.

Just had my first Father’s Day as a father with our ten week old. Very much enjoying being a dad. Headed down to Humber street for lunch (very tasty roast dinner at butler whites) and Lewie coyle and his mrs and young baby were outside social having a coffee. Haven’t been down there in ages as I live in Scarbs and was a really nice atmosphere. A lot more stuff open since I last went.
