Just a thought chaps. Perhaps it's Evertons financial situation rather than this guy being a failure.
Yeah ridiculous calling him a failure when we know nothing about his actual responsibilities at Everton. And for what it's worth, Everton made some good signings last season (ex: Onana). People are literally moaning about anything and everything these days.
Data analysts/researchers provide data reports to steer decision-making processes... they do not make the decisions or even have a large say-so. Some pretty weird reactions to this guy coming in. It's also a role that exists in near enough every club. Even when I was working in a League One club in 2015, we had a data analyst.
Yeah, he may have had no influence on it whatsoever, but I'd go so far as to say that Everton's very good business last summer is the only reason they had a hope in hell of surviving. Onana, McNeil and Tarkowski were huge for them (Maupay less so, but that's because signing a striker is the single most impossible task in all of prognostication, apparently).
A year ago to this very day my (half) brother (although really just my brother) died of a heart attack. He was a big Saints fan and had been supporting Saints and going since around 1965ish although in his final years he popped over the Phillippines so didn't go to St Mary's so often. He took me to my first game Southampton versus Leeds United April 24th 1971 - I was 8 years old and my mum was terrified of me going due to hooliganism, at 13 my brother had been threatened to be beaten up by grown men at previous games, for his scarf - anyone remember that 'Give us your scarf'. I remember I couldn't see too much even though I was down the front and we had leave before the end because I was busting for a pee. We then walked to the coach, (we lived on the other side of Romsey so Buddens used to run the 'two-bob bus' to games), and we heard a cheer and he said 'Saints might have got a goal back' they didn't, it was a 3-0 defeat. I remember it was Mick Jones' birthday and he scored two goals. Oh well, at least he never saw this car crash of season just gone.
Was thinking that after listening. I am all in to manifestation- I actually do it a lot and try to put positive vibes out to the universe. However, his manifestations are to stop “those in power controlling us” and wants us to do it together to rise above “them”. Why is it in 2023 everything has to be a bloody conspiracy?
Even worse than MLT, arguably. Top thing on his feed is retweeting an explicit QAnon post. Can we please have one club legend that doesn't become a sucker for just the dumbest conspiracies imaginable.
Oh, you haven't heard, then? Apparently, they're all out to get us. I'm storing canned food, and stocking up on guns and ammunition. I can't say any more, in case I'm being monitored. Still, the staff here are nice, and I feel much better after my tablets and injections.
What on earth is he on about. Is this some sort of movement or his personal thoughts? I write this not sure I want to know the answer!
Yeah... it is actually looking worse. I just checked in to see if I should give him a follow or not, as his account came up in the suggested section. Nothing about football (fair enough, his account anyway) but from a quick look at his tweets, plus his shares and likes, it's QAnon, pro-Trump, anti-vax, UFO sightings, the great awakening (whatever that is, not convinced even he knows), social credit scores, microchipping, anti payment card crap and all sorts of other minor and major conspiracy theories... utterly batshit stuff. Not for me, I'll try to pretend his Twitter account just doesn't exist.
