I'm happy with it if it is the new kit. It's stripes instead of a Wolves shirt or tasteless tiger print and the sponsor compliments the shirt rather than clashing with or dominating it. Not a fan of the blank panels on the back as I think stripes on both sides look much, much better, but we've had a lot worse.

His article literally says ‘the kit has been leaked on social media…I will describe it for those blind people reading the site* …but we don’t know if it’s genuine or not.’ Not even an opinion on tubby wearers *many sites can be by the way, although I’m not sure about Hull Live…I’ve certainly not noticed their alt photo descriptions and if they did that properly that’s what visually impaired people would read / have read so there would be no need to describe it in an article next to a photo of it
As a standalone City shirt it's okay but for Acun's first one under Kappa it's pretty poor and boring. This was the chance to knock it out the park and go for something completely different yet it's the same old **** and looked like it was designed in about 10 minutes flat using an existing Kappa template. I thought the point was to sell more shirts and that design won't do that.
This blue **** looks like a Rugby shirt, the home shirt looks like some kid has scribbled all over an existing shirt & stuck those ****ing awful Kappa Slapper stickers on it. TBH, it could be the greatest kit in the world, but if it has the ****ing Kappa Slapper on it, I would hate it!
How many shirts in our history have had pinstripes? There were 3 in the 80's, one in 2009 and one in 2015, in fact we've had as many shirts with a tiger print as pinstripes. So we do predominantly alternate with stripes and plain, although lately it's mainly been stripes, the last time we had a shirt without any form of stripe was 2012.
I quite like this but I probably wouldn't buy it for myself as I don't like the badge.If they put the old 'HULL CITY AFC' 'THE TIGERS' back on merchandise I'd buy more...
I don't understand this obsession with the old badge? Are there people who say they won't go back to the MKM unless they rename it the KC?
It's not an obsession,it's a personal view,I prefer the old badge,I think It's visually more attractive. As for the stadium,I'm not overly fussed what they call it and I daresay if the current owner ever gets his chance to buy it he'll Turkify it...

Changes to the badge were a sensitive issue for some, under the previous owner. I personally have no issue with the new badge, but I do understand the anger around the “1 904” MS Paint badge.
If thats genuine, then I'm not keen at all. The front is too similar to last years and I don't like the plain back at all. My lad had problems with the fit on last years (he's a chunky one) so a slimmer fit is not going to cut it. Underwhelmed.
Syd, that is a ridiculous comparison to make. The new badge is ****e (imo). There's nothing special at all about 190 4; in fact many clubs are way older. But the more relevant point is that the old badge was removed & the new badge borne out of pure spite & vindictiveness. To my mind, this is one of the first changes that Acun should have made (to revert back to our previous badge). Since the badge change I buy very little merchandise and still wear by choice the old badged stuff (shorts, t-shirt) and proudly display the beach towel abroad.
I think it's a simple but smart kit. Only thing I'd change about the design is having the front Kappa badge be white like the Corendon sponsor. Compare the original with the white badge I edited.
What are you on about? It's not an official group, I'm just saying there's a subsection of the City fan base that refuse to buy anything until we return to the old badge. Your post reminded me about that obsession so I commented on it. No mountains here.
Case in point, another of the 'bring back the good old days' brigade. It's a badge, get over it. Reverting to an old badge is just such a foolish concept.
