TBH given how hot and dry it has been and will be over the next 4 days I was hoping Crane would be picked. The chances are the pitch will turn on days 3 and 4 - just a question of how much.
 
I'm still not convinced by Weatherley as an opener and we are still exposing the middle order to the new ball too early. Middleton is a find for sure, although inexperienced but the lack of a consistant partner for him could cost us dearly again this season.
 
Pathetic. This is not a 70-7 pitch at all. Maybe if players actually looked to score rather than just survive we'd be in a better position. Our batting is a joke.
 
England! Beware Nathan Lyon. 4 second innings wickets! Although I wanted India to win, oñe can't help but admire the way the Aussies defeated India. At this stage, I would make Oz favourites to retain the Ashes, 2 or 3-1 to Oz!

That's pretty much the perfect day when you win the toss and choose to bowl. Take 10 wickets cheaply and then basically wipe out that score for the loss of just one wicket.
