Absolutely ... success in football generally cones down to who has the deepest pockets ... to think that only happened since Chelsea and Citeh got bankrolled is, quite frankly, bollox ...

It’s not just the amount they’ve spent, it’s how they came to get their money that annoys me. Other clubs of course spent big but they got their money in a more authentic way.

My thinking is the complete opposite to this.
I couldn't care less where the money came from because the hard part is finding the right people to spend it.

yeah, players were getting bought, sold, and paid vast sums (for the time) when it was supposedly an amateur sport and completely against the rules. That's how some of them got big (on top of buying their way into the league in one case)

No coincidence that the major bleaters are from clubs that had the richest backers before the likes of Chelsea, Citeh and now Newcastle were able to compete on the buying the best players front <laugh>

City wouldn't have won a treble if Arsenal didn't completely bottle the league title.

Dunno what the **** Pinkies bleating about.

Your club was ahead of this lot for like 70% of the season. <laugh>

Sounds like you and floppy are doing the bleating here lol

I wanted City to win the treble after we spunked the league <laugh>

Yeah well you're getting one anyway <laugh>

Coz like King Hotspur says, £2bn squad ain't the fairy tale that everybody makes out.

It's a fairytale for the fans of Manchester City who were sat in the early 2000s, chuffed with lower midtable mediciocrity under Kevin Keegan.

They've now seen their club win every single domestic cup and the biggest cup in Europe.

I genuinely don't think they're arsed one bit that a bunch of neutrals don't rate it.

Spurs fans complaining about it is just unbelievable. KingHotspur only likes to gargle the cum of clubs that have earned the right apparently <laugh>

His argument makes no sense

Yeah I'd lap it up if I was a City fan of course
