Wow! The treble. Unbelievable. I think City struggled with the weight of expectation on them tonight, understandably so. Plus Inter, whilst crap in the final third, pressed them to death for 60 minutes. I thought Stones was City's best player, along with Foden as the game opened up. Incredible misses from Inter, but they were diving ****ers so **** 'em. Well done City. Purely in footballing terms they are an absolutely fantastic football team.
Amazing what you can do when you're owned by an oil rich country.... Fair ****s to them, we'd be happy if it happened to us (pretty sure Strolls would have a moan though )
I did say purely in footballing terms. I take the other points. Really pleased for the English players.
With the all charges against City yet to be heard, is there any chance they will be penalised, if found guilty, by the dispossession of any of their titles?
Grealish is the bouncy haired go-to man for the interviews now I notice...doesn't talk in usual cliches and likely to cry which everyone loves of course
Gee, the trophy looks big enough to house a small family. With the rental crisis in Oz at the moment, it may be put up on AirBNB soon.
When the fans at Rangers chanted that he was “ a **** Joey Essex”, he did smile and seemed to find it amusing
Probably the worst City have played all season but it was meant to be. Lukaka truly awful , mightve been different if Dzeko could've lasted the full 90. On a football basis, to win the treble is some feat though, so fair play to the maggots.
Not a classic but congrats to City (thru gritted teeth!). Emerson their MOTM. Both skillful and lucky, reflex saves. Booby prize - Lukaku. Must do better. As to QPR playing in the CL, I was asked the same question by a 9 Yr old granddaughter last night. Maybe in her lifetime but not mine.
You're probably right. Leicester fans would have been saying the same a few years ago and they got a shot at Champions League football.
I saw the match thank you Stainsey, for the prod to watch on youtube . Man City were lucky, but probably deserved that bit of luck. Great strike from Rhodri, I am glad that big well organised teams suffer the killer strike from outside the penalty area, because we do all the time. Inter were so well organised...until City scored, I thought City were the better team, but once Inter had to come out, they took over.... Lukaku was truly awful...put it anywhere except where he did and he would of scored. Ederson...MOTM. Incredible but slightly lucky saves
