I’m a long way from describing them as the better side, but they’ve clearly done their homework on how to play against Man City.

It might not be one for the purists, but it’s effective and I can see them scoring.

Yeah, I’d like Citeh to win with some lovely free-flowing football, but Inter are under no obligation to roll over and let them.

As you say though Inter’s tactic, whilst effective, is bloody hard work so fingers crossed for them fading.

I’d like Man City to win but there have been big games where Man City have played the occasion, not the game. Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid and the final against Chelsea a few years ago spring to mind. What they can’t do is let De Bruyne going off again dampen their morale. When he went off injured in the last CL final Man City played, their heads just dropped.

 

Game like this is crying out for Mahrez, get to the hour mark and I can see him coming on

 

Reckon de Bruyne wasn't fully fit from the off, Bernardo Silva needs more of the ball, he can beat his man, Grealish not contributing much. A lot to do with IM's approach though, they've got it worked out well, press hard and be aggressive.
