The best part is that Newcastle are succeeding without breaching any ffp rules.

    For now.

To stay in that top 4 bracket and win trophies won’t be easy or cheap.

I don't think staying top 4 is the aim really.. they may be ahead of schedule position wise and if they can stay there they'll be delighted, but doubt it changes the long term plan.

No the aim will be titles and European glory and to be the next Man City. That will take even more money when you have so many rich sides in the same division.

At least we didn't spend a billion pounds on a stadium and any money earned goes back into the club and not to the banks.

He's got an FA Cup winners medal ... but couldn't actually get in the starting line up that day ...

... but he's grown ... one of the most technically gifted number 10s in the division over the last 2 seasons... even in a struggling side ...

I really rate him, but I have no idea where he would even fit into our team. There's factors that need to be considered, he will firstly demand a starting 11 position agents and the like will bring that up in the negotiations, then he will become our highest earner for sure.

I look at the squad at Newcastle and I just don't see where he can easily slot in. We play a 4-3-3 with the middle consisting of Joelinton, Bruno and Longstaff. Seems certain to me that Longstaff will be replaced by Gordon next season, Gordon came from a struggling club and apparently was extremely unfit when he arrived at Newcastle, but he has shown signs of his potential.

We can't just drop Gordon, he cost us 40m ffs.

So, who do we drop? Barnes however, can slot right into the LW and would be ready to start from day one. Even though I have my doubts about him.

    Had to turn off.

Dumb bitch repeated herself about 5 times in the first 20 seconds.

How can you make a video that is 1:38 in length and repeat yourself?

He's had some good midfields around him so far.
At the moment he is looking at playing with Thiago, Henderson, Fabinho, Elliot, etc. Won't even have Milner to help him out.
They need to buy 2 more at least to try and stay significant.
