Not a chance Craig Dope knows anything about the budget and if anyone is telling him anything it's media manipulation to try and grind down prices. If we only have £75m why are we looking at Maddison/Sabilozar for £50-60m when we need 5 players to pad the squad?

The only way that figure is right if that is the TOP price we will pay for one player. Then another £125m on the other 4 needed...

Past that we spent £60m on Isak last year with Fun88 paying peanuts and a bottom half finish - are we to believe now we have a new sponsor on 4 times the money and CL football that our budget is down on what we spent last year? **** right off.
 
Last season they said £60m budget and everybody knows how it ended...

I also see in twatter, people sprouting about Saudi priority is their league atm, so they're reluctant to spend a lot on Newcastle.
