It's also whether they can afford to keep him and pay his salary in the Championship if nobody is prepared to pay their asking price. It's not the same as a PL club holding out on a player. And I get the sense he would go off in a huff to force the issue if Leicester don't agree a sale.

They will have released a lot of big wage players such as Tielmans and parachute payments. They can afford to keep him.

I’m sure a deal can be had along the lines of £45m with bonuses on to bringing it closer to what they want overall but still giving what we want/need
 
Craig Hope used to be alright but he's got annoying now, seems to love the sound of his own posh geordie accent.
