Amazing. We’ve just finished fourth. The very next season after being hot favourites to be relegated in October of the previous season. And we have people whittling about our lack of activity in a transfer window which hasn’t even opened yet.

We should be whittling on about Pouchies wife, ACS falling into a ditch, and whatever the **** Munson has pulled from his vagina that day, then?

I'd rather chat about us in the transfer window tbph.

I've certainly yet to be blown away by business since Ashworth came in, reflects absolutely nothing on the season, Howe, the players, the owners or anything else. WIll be very interesting to see how Ashworth operates and what types of players we bring in under his leadership.

    Chat, no problem.

Whittling about what we haven’t done in a window that hasn’t even opened yet, problem.

Define whittling, so that we can better streamline the conversation approval system

Buzzing for the window. I expect a huge surprise or two in this one, something mental like Oshiem or equally mental that right now I'd say "won't happen".

TBH if they can bring in 4/5 good youngsters for the squad (without losing any of the top 16 players we currently have that'd be amazing.

I like reading all the media rumours... It's the only football fix for a couple of months. And I agree, should be a good window for us, though I'm expecting clever, lower priced signings rather than any £90million+ players. It's good to remember that Howe will very likely also improve anyone we buy.

Exactly if we could pick up a few young players with serious potential Howe will drag it out of them and that'll improve the squad without disrupting it to much.

But I've got a feeling we'll get a massive surprise like Isak last season. Not one media outlet picked up on it until it was done and I wouldn't be surprised to see and outrageous signing come in.

4/5 is about right, but a few of them will need to be first teamers too

I've came to the conclusion we will likely be signing Harvey Barnes from Leicester and Maddison is a dead end.

I agree. This is about where I'm guessing at right now. It actually fits better.

The way the media works these days, I wouldn't be surprised to see us linked with Alfredo Di Stefano.

I don't think Leicester are in the position to tell us how much we have to pay for him, somehow.

Can't see them getting 50+. Spurs are in for him and they might think that'll trigger a bidding war. It won't work
