Someone on Twitter posted that Thuram is flying into Blackpool tomorrow from Nice. Those who know how to do such things have found that there is indeed a private flight coming into Blackpool from Nice scheduled arrival about 9 a.m.

Supposedly both Thuram and Kone have agreed personal deals... Waiting for the lean, until then it's just media prattle.
Very pleased if we get those two in addition to mac Allister.

Apparently very close mates, grew up together and played together at youth teams and France age groups.
Might help persuade them to come if that’s the case and hopefully develop some instant chemistry on the pitch.
That's always important and I think a big part in our success in the past is how close the team are to each other.
Mac, Thuram, Kone, plus one quality central defender is about as good as you could wish for in one window and will leave me pretty content we're well placed for a good top four challenge.
Someone homegrown would be nice to add to the mix although that can wait for future windows. I imagine Hendo's seasons left in the game are counting down.
Linked to Veiga who is u21 so wouldn't count as non homegrown, except in the EL I think which has different rules for u21's.
The players we are after are all good now but also have huge potential which Klopp will undoubtedly bring out. Age wise we will be set up for a good few years - providing we get the players of course.

well Ox was an obvious worry from day 1 as he was an English ex Arsenal player and they all had poor injury records .
Exactly. Ox was always a risk. Naby is just bad luck - he had all the attributes to succeed along with a good injury record.
We surely couldn't replicate another pair like that. It's a shame because both played reallt well when fit ......

ready to step into first team
No big names so shouldn’t be egos and annoyed we aren’t in CL
Not already at CL big teams so should be motivated and hungry to get club back into top 4 plus challenge for trophies
