£25m quoted for Maxi? Not my favourite player, but a decent impact sub. I’d rather keep him than sell him for that?

£25m is ridiculous for todays market. Bloody hell we bought Wood for similar.

Agree. IF we do sell him, I would like to see us get a fair bit more than that. Gordon cost us £45 with add-ons. So Maxi is worth more than £25m. Or just keep him.

Or he’s very average and £25m is a steal

A few years ago we got £30m for Perez. I’m not keen to keep him but surely £30m is the starting bid?!

For that price, we could swap him for Wood and Shelvey combined if you prefer.

25m for a player that is rarely available and when he does play is just a skilful Adams traore with no end product? Should be biting someone’s hand off if they came in with that

Funny how these clubs aren’t prepared to splash the cash on him. Wonder why?

It's not that, but £25m is nothing these days, barely gets us a half decent squad player to replace him with.

It adds a ton more in ffp rules though

No club is going to spend big money on a player who plays 5 good games a season

Best get flogging ASM to Spurs though they may be more cautious after we sold Sissoko to them <laugh>

They are clueless. If they get cash for Kane they well blow it like a kid in a sweet shop.

ASM doesn't have enough good games. But we do need a replacement before letting him go.

Tbf Leicester were utter ****ing lunatics to pay that price, in the same way we took Liverpool to the cleaners and made the break the British transfer record for Carroll. **** he may have been, but Ashley managed to pull off some ridiculous sales for us.

Plus Perez and Carroll were in top form when we sold them, ASM's form is constantly up and down and he's injured way too regularly for us to get big money for him.

Personally I think ASM could be very useful as an impact sub in the Prem, and playing in the CL matches. He seems to have decided he's off though,.

I thought they'd already be gone in such a serious way that I wouldn't even have to say it.
