Back in January newspapers were claiming his release clause was €40million. More recently reports have suggested that it is actually lower than this, at €30million... Which equates to just under £26million. This would make reports of our move to sign him more believable, given the strictures of our budget.

He's looked decent when I've seen him play and tbh I think Chelsea is just a mess. I don't think he's a player Howe would fancy.

Yes but they are offering him out on loan.

They bought him for over £100m

He’s living off his time at Benfica where he scored 15 in 26 games. His career to date reminds me of Andy Carroll and think we should just avoid

He's "been offered to us", which is somewhat concerning if he's being pumped around rather than teams going after him.

Fell out with Simone at Athletico and Potch doesn't want him at Chelsea and wages of £200k....not really what we want.
