Not true but no one looked good under Rafa.,Benitez had Mitrovic, Perez, Joselu, Gayle, Muto, Rondon(not all at once) and Toney/Armstrong (never really featured) when he managed us and at one time he had Murphy out on loan which at the time was the right decision

Everyones on their hols now, no transfers will be done for a few weeks.
Possibly free signings at beginning of June for some clubs/players. That will be about it. Unless Chelsea start shopping again now for their rebuild
We seriously do need attacking quality. I know Almiron has done well this season but we cannot hope he goes on another killing spree like last season.
Even if we do sign someone like Szobozlai or Diaby, it will be a toss up between Almiron, Gordon, Murphy for that other spot.... That's scary stuff.
We could really do with two new wingers really, but I think Maddison would be a good option as he can play RCM, RAM, RW.

Szoboszlai is predominantly an attacking central midfielder and Diaby plays most of his games on the right. So really, if we were lucky enough to sign both of them and still had spare change for another signing, it would be a left wing specialist we should be looking to add...
... But that's ok, because we have Saint Maximin to play there. He's going to get and stay fit and be a revelation in the PL and CL, tearing it up for NUFC.
Would surprise me if they signed players that can play in multiple positions like Isak.

Why not? I see no reason why these players can't perform again or even improve under howe and with better players coming in.
We need more players of similar standard or better but we can still be confident in what is already performing well.
Now being reported that both Barcelona and Liverpool have been in contact regarding signing Bruno G. Same report states that Bruno's preference is to agree his new contract and stay with us.

Rumours that we are looking at lower prices for some of the positions we want to strengthen. Apparently we're back in for Matheus Franca from Flamenco who can play AMC or either wing (expected price £20 - £25million) and also looking at signing Sao Paulo's Pablo Maia (defensive midfielder, expected price of around £10million). Both signings would supposedly be to add strength in depth to the first team squad immediately.
For CB it's rumoured that we are considering bidding for Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice, who are expected to ask for around €30million + €10million in add-ons.

All sounds good to me and added bonus I never heard of any of them, worked so far.
I used to find Mike's windows depressing but now I find these windows are somehow now far more annoying than I anticipated.
