Yeah I did intermittent fasting (window to eat was 1pm to 9pm each day but usually kept it narrower than that). Only thing I missed was cup of tea in the morning but otherwise did 8 months no issue. Likely to do it again this summer when I start up my running.
It depends how you define working really. I lost about a stone (I'm not overweight, it was moving from a bmi of about 25 to 23 really) or more over the months and the weight stayed off for the time. I could pretty much eat what I wanted but realistically did eat less as I was unable to snack at bad times. Now I'm back up to nearing 25 again I suspect, but it is a year or so later. I agree with Roy that after the first few days it isn't hard, I drank a lot of water to fill in my day, for me it was easy but the weight tool time to lose.
Albert does the intermittent drinking diet where you get absolutely **** faced for 3 hours (on 3 pints of shandy) then spend 21 hours in a ditch - and then start over again.
I know - I thought it was a bit clever for this board but it’s good to know there is somebody on my wavelength.
Sorry to actually talk about the summer transfer window 2023 in the Summer Transfer Window 2023 thread, but I'd say I big **** YES to this:
I remember reading an interview with Christian Bale where they asked him how he manages to lose wait quickly to play parts in films, and he just said he stopped eating for weeks on end. I can actually do a less extreme version of this when I want to, ie just eat one small meal a day and only drink water.
