She obviously thought she was above having to go on a course with other miscreants and being the attorney general at the time, was probably trying to keep it quiet but I can't see anything that suggests she would get the fine paid on expenses. I wouldn't be surprised if she was though as MP's on all sides seem to think they can claim for just about anything. Trying to arrange a private course for herself is pretty low on the Tory's list of corruption I would think. Getting her staff to spend time on a private matter is probably not right but probably not unusual either in our honourable political set up.
 
I don’t know if I am seeing this with a particular bias but it does feel like the sense of humour of people leaning right seems to be school playground stuff like “fat Keith”. All the witty social commentary seems to lean left. I wonder what that tells you…
