Remember our two seasons I just wanted it over and ****ing done with. Less so 08/09, felt we could survive. But, the second time? Jesus, just end that **** and put us out of our misery. We were atrocious.
Very much the latter now mate ... we should have won at Leeds and if Maddison hadn't missed the pen against Everton we'd be out of it now ... opportunities missed that sort of sum up the season... You never know in footie, for sure, but the way we have rolled over in the last 2 games certainly doesn't bode well against an in-form Toon ... Hoping for the best, but expecting the worse, are you going to drop a bomb on us? Alphaville - Forever Young
Stunned I tell yer absolutely stunned... please log in to view this image Anfield Watch @AnfieldWatch · 35m : Liverpool have written to the refereeing governing body to seek an explanation for the contentious decisions which ended their late bid for Champions League football. #lfc [chris bascombe - telegraph] please log in to view this image
OMG... The club has officially written to Professional Game Match Officials Limited, who represent all officials in the Premier League, asking for a full explanation over two incidents, which were the subject of a full VAR review https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/furious-liverpool-ask-referee-body-30046494 please log in to view this image
Even more crying in the comments, pull up a chair lads... David, I am extremely glad that Liverpool have written to the PGMOL about the dreadful and biased refereeing that took place on Saturday afternoon, but unfortunately, I suspect the only place the letter will see is the rubbish. Why, well without putting them on here, the reasons are quite obvious. The two VAR/referee decisions that Liverpool have written about, were quite clearly wrong, as has been proved many times, on the TV and other media platforms and if that proves nothing else, it certainly proves that our referees and their cheating mates who sit in Stockley Park are simply not good enough. I was watching the game online, and the goal by Cody Gakpo should have stood, because it was simply that a goal, but the PGMOL allows, its referees to make up the rules as they go along. As for the injury to Cody, well even a toddler could have told you that it was a red card within seconds of seeing it happening. The PGMOL seem to think that Liverpool are not allowed to have penalties, so there was absolutely no way that John Brooks was going to give one, even though, it was quite clear that Jordan had been tripped up. It has got to the point where most Liverpool supporters would ike to see the sacking of Paul Tierney and John Brooks because both are biased against the club and have been since their promotion by PGMOL so that they can referee in t the Premier League. That though, I suspect will not happen, so whether the PGMOL like it or not, they must never enter the doors of Anfield again. It is of course a situation that needs to be remedied very quickly, but I think it will take more that Virgil speaking out about it, so perhaps he needs to get as may footballers as he can to make complaints about the refereeing. Maybe then, the PGMOL will take notice. Love from faithanne xx The bolded bit
I can't even laugh about it tbh. What a whinging sack of **** that club is. This is cringe central, worse than anything they've done before. They never fcking learn, instead of reigning in the paranoia of their managers, the club goes balls deep in it every fcking time and become a joke
The bit about penalties is funny as fck tbf. It's the kind of **** my Year 1's would come out with in the playground when they lose ffs
I love it that they hate Paul Tierney, I love the guy, I hope he gets more of their games next season.
