I usually just laugh at other clubs tbh.

Yeh there's rivalry but how much money they have or where they got it from doesn't bother me.

Neither do refereeing decisions, pens not given, players not getting sent off or any of that bollox. Pathetic that managers like Klopp who cry about it after matches, like somehow they can't win without it.

we all do

but you’re mistaken if you think the oil clubs haven’t impacted your club

Your club especially considering its modern day success under fergie and what it achieved until your neighbours got comfy next door…now you’re picking up again and the Toon get a sugar daddy.

your club already finished below them.

trust me it impacts your club

people mention how much money and where because that’s important in the discussion lol…of course it matters where it comes from because there’s supposed to be rules to the game.

It’s not just a talking point for Sucky…it’s a talking point throughout football. I hear discussions on the radio, podcasts, internet etc…it’s real no matter how much joy we all take at laughing at Liverpool

Think you are looking at it the wrong way
It’s a goal till they chalk it off so **** it - celebrate it

if it gets chalked off so what - rewind your celebration lmao

Very much my view ... prime recent example was Youri Tielemans brilliant strike at Leeds ... only stopped celebrating once a VAR check for a possible offside was announced...

The money helps mate, there's no getting away from that. It gives you the choice to fck it up or not.

My point is I don't give a flying fck how much money another club has. It's all about what my club is doing to overcome every other one regardless.

If all I wanted to do was cry about what other clubs are doing I'd become a Livpl fan.

I agree with you ... the vast majority of complaints about Citehs 'bought success" (and Chelsea's before them) seem to come from supporters of clubs that were financially dominant during their own periods of success ... for the middle and smaller clubs that has always been something we've just had to contend with ...

Guess what ... the more money you can spend on players, the greater your chances of success ... who knew? <laugh>

Of course they've impacted on my club. But the only place we're going to change that is on the pitch. We have to improve ourselves.

If clubs like City are breaking the rules then I'm all for them having the book thrown at them. But anyone who thinks that's going to happen is living in cloud cuckoo land. In the mean time City will carry on winning silverware.

So what are United going to do about it,what are Spurs going to do about it? Run our clubs better, have better managers, bring in the players to compete and overcome that challenge because at the end of the day that's all that matters.

Truth is the problems on the pitch lie with us. You know full well City and Toon aren't the reason Spurs are midtable, I know they're not the reason we've been a shambles for almost a decade. And they're not the reason Livpl couldn't manage more than 2/3 yrs success, that's down to their owners not putting their hands in their pockets when they should have and a manager who was too stupid to realise when he needed to get rid and rebuild.

Genuinely I look at City and the only thing I think about is what do we need to do to be better. That's it.

I felt that with Chelsea, and the Toon is just more of the same.

City are quite irrelevant as a club to me but I can’t help but observe that they were dogshit probably relegation candidates before the Arabs decided to use them as a sport washing project

Same with Chelsea(not the relegation) and now with Newcastle(relegation candidates)

Its a fact

people still concentrating on their own clubs though

you’ll see more posts about me criticising my own club than anyone else’s…however I’m bound to notice what has happened…especially when in the foreseeable all 3 will occupy a CL spot…leaving one for the rest.

I can make that observation whilst still concentrating on my own club but to suggest that everyone should ignore that and just concentrate on their own clubs like Trebs suggests is absurd.

Its an observation well worthy of a conversation…in the mean time I shall concentrate on my own club

see both can be achieved
You can go back in history and at one time or another most top clubs have been able to use their financial spending power to get to the top. Its what has always happened so I dont get the fascination or hatred because now its City's turn.

Since Guardiola has come to the club, both Utd and Chelsea have spent more than City. Folk decide to ignore that and continued to belittle his achievements. If it's all about money, why haven't Chelsea and Utd been dominating the last 7 or 8 years?

Pretty much every ex footballer and pundit is saying that Guardiola is special and one of a kind. It's only supporters of other big clubs that say different. That can only be put down to bitterness/jealousy. Theres no consistency with it otherwise Chelsea and Utd would be getting more **** than City. They arent because they haven't been as successful. That's it.

we are **** because we are not run correct regarding football matters without a doubt but when you see City and now Newcastle just pop up out of nowhere overnight…a bit like the skinny bloke who looks like Arnie after 3 months in the gym.

You know they been on the juice

Them 2 clubs wouldn’t be anywhere near the top 4 without ill gotten gains and that affects your club and mine.

but yes….my club needs to do things better…we spend money…not wisely.

Not really out of nowhere. They won the Prem 11 years ago and were steadily improving for years before that including when you edged them out for fourth. They’ve always been a big club rather than a huge one and had a decent level of success in the 60s and 70s.
