Always like it with Ireland in the finals - always turn up and give everyone a tough time. Well deserved especially after the disgrace with the French, but no way do I want you in the same group as England. I remember 88 and was there for the draw in Italia 90. One of the worst games I have ever seen.

It was a terrible match. Charlton had great players back then but played a terrible long ball type game. Was Sir Bobby yeer best manager in the last 20-30 years, SB73?

Very close call between Sir Bobby ( emotionally) and Terry Venables, who was not in the job long enough because of his (alleged) dodgy dealings. For obvious Rs related reasons my preference would be Terry, even have him back now if he wanted the job.
And Ireland? Wor Jackie v Mad Mick v Trap? Will Roy Keane ever get the call?

I think Jackie might have been our best manager.

Yes, I can see Roy getting the Irish job down the road - I'd like to see him get some more management experience under his belt though with some small international teams llike the Faeroe Islands and England! <laugh>

Venables, he should never have been allowed to resign, especially when you see our next managers legal problems!

Keano is a lunatic, with no managerial ability.

I thought the Estonia v Ireland game looked like a league 1 encounter before the players got sent off, so I hope Ireland are in our group!!

<applause>. Credit, where credit is due Col! ....... Not sure about Campiones though!

If Ireland do meet England, then I buy the pint before the game and you buy it after. Deal?....barring a 0-5 result at Lansdowne on Tuesday of course! :embarrassed:

Yeah Inky! This is all your fault.....

...You've started a virtual QPRevolution in Ireland.

...Been the reason for not606's first submission to the QPR CEO.

...The reason I had 3 QPR fans (one which i met through not606) in my living room for the Spurs match - and I warn my kids about meeting people on-line!?!

...Lively banter about the Rugby World Cup, and pissing off someone because it's an Irish R's football site

...The reason why one of our not606 colleagues set us a challenge of getting 7 of us Irish R's together - we WILL work on that one!

    Keep the thread going lad!
