I went to Port Vale once, it was like a timewarp back to the mid 80's. You could easily have mistaken the place for Luton, certainly with its mentality anyway.
My company has an office in Stoke and I have to go there occasionally, it is grim as **** in that place.
Second probably only to Hull as the biggest **** hole I have ever been to.
Been to Stoke City's ground, never been to Vale's, though I cant imagine its better.
In fairness I preferred the 2-5 Liverpool v Madrid game,if it's any consolation

Live fairly close to it ... one of the ugliest towns in England ... but there are some much nicer ones in the region ...

I’m not shocked the fan of one sports washing project is praising the handy work of another sports washing project considering the bitter taste of not quite getting the credit you feel your team deserved for all them years from the neutral observer.
I expect Newcastle fans to become like you lads soon enough due to the same emo needs.

Lot of good all that money has done us this season anyway, sitting in mid table with a mediocre team of helmets.
Regardless of funding, to win a treble is a big thing and of course people are going to praise a team that achieves it.
Though I will agree that they should let City actually achieve it before sucking them off.
United and Inter will have something to say about it.

Fans of clubs like Gillingham and Sunderland and West Ham can fap over City all they want..it’s understandable coz their clubs have never been hindered in any way shape or form by a sports washing project club be it Chelsea or City
The clubs always mixing it for the CL spots have felt the affects due to these no mark clubs getting financially doped.

Port Vale is actually the posh part of Stoke. The rest of it's worse. Luton with Eeh Bah Gum accents and 'orrible northern beer.

Its true that we dont have that kind of rivalry with anyone.
I do envy it at times, but it does turn fans into illogical spastics at times as well so it might be a good thing.
