I know we are all down and a bit upset. On the plus side just got my 3rd birdie in a row. 1 green then 3 greens and a very good guess for a 3.
I’ve not got much enthusiasm this morning for this. Made a bit of a balls up on guess 4, so a disappointing 5 seems about right OOOYO YOOOO OOGGO OOGOY GGGGG
Two juicies (what turned out to logically be the first and last letters), then a fantastic eagle . . . . first for blinking ages
Just set off by ferry to Skye and her indoors has landed the first eagle we’ve seen this week beating my par. 1 hughie, 4 hughies only two options and I guessed wrong costing me a birdie putt, never mind.
My stats since I started Today's was almost a 2 as I got the first 4 letters on my second go but blew it and did it in 3
As a matter of interest, what are your strategies? I start with the same word every time, with 3 vowels. Then I use as many common consonants as I can using the vowels that came up, or the 2 that didn't. If I'm still struggling I use any word that might help to determine the correct position of at least one of the letters. Usually I have cracked it by then, if not before. But sometimes I have 4 letters in the right place and there are several options for the 5th and then it's pot luck
Are you going to be a regular on this thread, Ron ? I ask because we may be able to answer your queries if you are, but if not, well 'son . . . . you're on your own' Do some have a specific plan/format ? Well, I fecking don't
You have made me feel 60 years younger I find it difficult to be a regular on anything to be honest. Always something cropping up to stop me doing other things that have cropped up and between these I have to do the things that crop up every day I will pop on the thread when I can, if that's OK
My normal strategy seems to be to get **** all on the first word, a juicy on the second, a juicy and a hughie on the third, two juicys and a hughie on the fourth, two juicys and two hughies on the firth. Then hope for the best on the sixth. Works well.....
Yes, it's okay, but I asked 'cos we (Snaggey) do (does) a weekly chart, which you can't be included in unless you're a regular
