Massive game in my part of the world, tomorrow. Norrköping - Linköping, two cities with approx, 160K inhabitants each and 40 km apart, are playing the first ever football match in the highest division. Linköping - a posh university city, is an ice-hockey city without ever having a football team in the top flight. However they have a women's team that have been in the top six for at least 20 years. Norrköping - an industrial city (textile, "little Manchester") is a football city and very dominant at basketball (men and women). Norrköping have built up the women's team and have gone up to the highest division for the first time this season. Tomorrow will be the first ever match between the two cities in the top flight (women though!). Their newish arena holds 8.5K. Norrköping got an allocation of 4K which sold out very quickly. There is expectedly about 6K coming from Norrköping. Linköping have been training with crowd noise from Norrköping's men's matches all week to get them used to what to expect tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be mental!
Milan lost 2-0 away to 18th placed Spezia today. After the game players and staff had a serious chat with the representatives of the Ultras - Brigate Rossonero As far as I know no abuse, no threats, a discussion. Happens in Germany after embarrassing losses as well. Love to have seen some of this from our players and fans this season, but I don’t think either party are up to it without it turning nasty.
Luton are fxxking horrible to watch as are their fans hoping for a Sunderland goal to take it into extra time but are struggling to create much
All very neat football from Sunderland but are getting nowhere with it & getting hustled off the ball
I’m with Yorkshire … hate their fans and their poxy ground. Shame for Sunderland, managed to do the complete opposite of us in the season.
