been dreadful this season after being great last . He looks like the injury he had is having a lasting effect .
Kelleher to you is what Milner is to Jimmy. We all know you're don't rate him. Echoing @Zanjinho, he doesn't get much match time and Keeper is that one position that match sharpness seems to matter the most and you notice it most when they don't have it. IMO, Kellelher is probably the best backup keeper we've had at least for the last decade... Maybe longer. (Maybe only exception is when Pepe got demoted to the bench when we signed Mig... And Reina didn't look good when he wasn't playing regularly... CK, just steps right up and performs right away)
Tbh I haven't watched him other than against us but when I check out the results, he's scoring and assisting.
Kelleher is the one backup keeper that we've had that I don't worry about if he's in for Alisson or the cup games. He's just so cool.
Can’t blame kelleher for wanting to move. Way too good to be number 2 and at his age is time he starts being a number 1 somewhere. It would be nice if we could do what city have done with a lot and insert buy back clauses. Sell for £15m with buy back of £40m. If he turns into brilliant keeper by time Ali is 34/35 might be a good club trained option to bring back
we need to stop paying what other clubs demand as half of them are now reliant on transfer fees to pay the bills . The new policy should be squeeze them and if they don't play ball move to next target..
I don't know if still true because I haven't watched much Italian football in years but serie A used to be the complete opposite of Premier League in terms of tactics.
That's sort of the point, he's a midfielder whose main job isn't to score or assist yet he's doing it. How many goals and assists has our midfield produced this season? Anyway, scratch what I said because I've only just realised he's on loan so will be going back to his club.
Imagine the flak the club would get from some on here if that was their official policy. "Missing out on our targets by being stingy and trying to bargain..." etc.
