They even convinced our insane management to part with £30m for Danny ****ing Drinkwater, so they have no excuses for not reinvesting that sensibly back in to the squad.
The league title was something they were never gonna repeat but they should be able to stay in the PL and challenge for the odd cup.
Relegation is ridiculous, and inexcusable.

Kante £6.5 m sold for £30 million
Maguire £16.5 sold for £85 million
Danny Drinkwater <whistle> £500k sold for £40 million <laugh>
 
Takes a while but the CL is finally going to get interesting tonight.
