Love Eddies presser's always hits the nail on the head. Until the points are on the board and it's mathematically confirmed we need to keep up the good work. I bet even if we go in to the Chelsea game not needing anything Eddie will be talking about maintaining standards etc.
Quite right. We the fans can be on "the beach" as in it's all done but the team can't until Mrs Obi stops singing. I think we've got it done BUT only if we continue playing as we have all season so far.
How do we see it now lads? There is definitely a few twists left in this. Thank **** I have an insurance bet on LiVARpool which was put on back in February when they were miles off it.
Of course we want 3rd but top 4 is an absolute priority. Liverpool basically need to win all 3 of their games now to have a chance. They've got Leicester away (difficult), Villa home (difficult) and Soton away (easy). 6 points will get us top 4, can see us getting 7 to 10 points from our last 4 which should be enough. Man U have an easier run in than us, which puts them slight favourites for 3rd.
What are we thinking now then? Not panic stations but certainly added pressure. It was the toughest of our remaining fixtures though. We need to go to leeds and play our football, not get involved in all the **** fat sam is going to try.
A lot tighter but still think 6 points will do it, Liverpool are sneaking wins atm and their luck will run out. Leeds looked better against City but still could have conceded a hat-full and Haarland was desperately trying not to score against the team he supports. Leicester conceding goals for fun, Brighton on the beach already and Chelsea despite a late flurry on Saturday don't look great still. Think the next 2 will make or break the season for us.
Exactly but its not necessary to do all that to say newcastle can get to that point tally in two games
