They're probably waiting to see if they can find another "has been" that wants a few months of paid work.
I have to say I have been puzzled and concerned by some of Lamouchi's selections. Last Saturday being a case in point. Starting with Ojo and Teflon when there were much better options left on the bench? He had done similar at least once or twice before, Sunderland being a case in point, and he had a reputation for tinkering at Forest. His input certainly helped keep us up and we were not playing with "his" players but I have little alarms ringing in my head should he stay.
See my post on the "Our manager" thread. Should we merge the 2 threads Sparks as they are basically covering the same topic?
WoL published a blog from a regular City blogger, Paul Evans. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar He raises the point I mentioned earlier about some of Lamouchi's questionable selections. He also talks about, in his view, the lack of opportunities for our home grown players, Davies, Colwill, King and Bagan in particular. The first 2 have suffered longish term injuries this season. With his pace, when fit, Davies must be given his chance in a settled side. I'm not convinced by Colwill. He has good skill but a possible lack of pace and positional sense let's him down a bit. King has only had a 3 minute opportunity in the first team after his Crewe loan. He is worth another chance next season. Bagan is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Why has hasnt had a chance at left back in recent weeks, when we have been light in this position, is beyond me - unless there is an aspect we don't know about..... VT will make up his own mind on Lamouchi and I hope some of these concerns can be addressed - as long as someone is preparing the questions for him and someone with a football brain can review and advise VT on the answers.
I always read his match reports in his website which are most astute and on occasions amusing plus his books likewise. (Haven’t read the Tony Evans season yet but have read the Real Madrid season one)
Put your thumb and forfinger in a circle and place it around the pointy thing in the middle of your face. F@#k nose!!!
Steve Bruce probably wouldn't upset Tan. Neither would he be an effective manager. So he'll be in the mix
This has helped me to make my mind up, with the trains from the Rhondda not working because of they are renewing lines and the number of night games I will not renew my season this year.
I'm sorry to read that Dai but fully understand. I know you like all Bluebirds will support the club through thick and thin but once the hope is taken away, it gets more difficult to stomach. Maybe give it a week to see what happens?
It's going hard now Clingo, I lost my driving licence because of heath reasons with no trains for over 6 months it's not really worth me getting a season. I missed quite a few night games this season also games over Christmas / Bank holidays. I will still try to get down for some games and also I'll get a few away games.
Blimey. If Tan didn't like the attitudes of Dave Jones, Malky, OGS and Morison, I wouldn't see Nathan Jones lasting very long.
True. He looks like he could start a row in an empty room. Always been his ambition to manage the Blooòoobirds. Could do worse at this level. Clearly the springboard for Luton's progress where his successor benefitted.
