Probably. I’m sure you’ll have something compelling to prove otherwise and justify your cuckholdery.

As always, I don’t care what France do. I’m not French and don’t live in France.

It's not a question of whether you care or not. Nobody gives a ****. It's a comparison between a country with a monarchy and a republic.

So, you say the French are less subservient. How does that manifest itself day to day?

I said they probably are. I don’t know. I assumed you did given you brought it up.

You’d have to ask a question to get an answer.

As always, this boils down to you being unable to accept that not everyone is ok with the status quo that you’re happy to be subservient to.

Why are Scousers entitled to hate the royal family and the national anthem because of the way the government have treated them?

Anyone is entitled to hate anyone but it’s all “the establishment” to them, rightly or wrongly. I think it’s a tad naive to think the monarch has absolutely no influence on how we’re governed. The hostility goes back decades and maybe longer.

All of this is guesswork. I’m not from Liverpool and don’t know many people who are but if Everton and Liverpool fans feel similarly then it’s something bigger than football. It’s not limited to Liverpool anyway. Celtic with its Irish heritage is ‘worse’ for it.

This is just another random person’s opinion but explains better than I can.

No right at all, you are correct....and there will be a proportion who love the royal family as much as Goldie does

But I can see that the hive mind, that has been ****ed over by the government lash out at authority when authority "imposes" something like unusually having the national anthem played before kick off. Human nature.

I am sure the same scousers go to England matches and sing ...as they see Henderson Trent-Alexander Arnold in the team

A lot don’t. There’s a real “Scouse not English” vibe.

I don’t get the need for the anthem last weekend. For the Queen, fine, though I chose to stay in the concourse and took my seat after. For Charles and Camilla having crowns put on their heads, not for me.

Not really on topic but it’s a terrible anthem when there are some great songs about the country that are actually about the country. I like Land of Hope and Glory. It’s more hope than glory right now.

Liverpool supporters are calling for Henderson to be kicked out of the club simply for singing the national anthem! They appear to have a rabid hatred for the country.

And, PS, I would not say I "love" the RF, Beth. I see the flaws in the individuals. But as a system, it works better than a republic imo, and it harnesses our long history and traditions.
