Just had a message from a mag mate. Says we are brilliant to watch and would be mid table prem. Known him for years down here. Kicked each other to bits on 5 a side park for a few years. He is 10 years younger than me, but we went at it big time on a Sunday night. I have been coaching his lad for a few years and we have become solid mates. He goes home and away, and is sound. After the reading goal he rang to me to say it was perfect. If wr go up it will be brutal, but he is a sound lad and his message meant a bit to me.

What about Pritch? Apparently he's away at the end of the season...

I thought it was him that changed the game today. He oozed class and all of our good work was going through him. Performances like that make me think we'd be mad to lose him. Ekwah looks a star in the making, he's got everything, a proper ball playing, box to box midfielder.

Fwiw, I still dont think theres much between Neil and Michut. Michut just edges it for me.

Neil for me. More disciplined. But that is down to games played I think. Some of Dans recovery runs and challenges saved real opporunties today. At lest 2. I could see a 433 with all of them in being class mind. Michut is the rea deal as well.

Think the issue with Pritch is that he misses too many games with injuries and thus you can't rely on him when building your squad. I'd give him an extra year, but not losing too much sleep if he moves on.
I think Neil and Michut are very different players and Neil is being asked to play a role (defensive holding midfielder) that is not his natural role. Both are very talented

How good was Ekwah today? Getting better and better every game. I wish we could play 14 players every game because I want Michut, Pritch and Ba on the pitch as well as the 11 who started today
Superb, taking control of situations, quality passing and almost got himself a goal which would have been the icing on the cake for the lad.

Just an early warning. I am on the glenfatclas 15, cask strength. My wonderful wife gave it to me 30mins ago. Was meant to be a pressie for my father in laws 88th in a couple of weeks. I have to replace it, which I will, but this is nectar. Work may be a stretch tomottow.

Absolutely unreal day in PNE hospitality. I reckon about 20% of the people in there were SAFC. Blew my cover after 2 mins when Clarke was wiped out.

Watching our supporters was amazing from the other side and all their lot couldn’t believe how class they were and how ‘slick’ our footy was. Someone counted how many players we had on the pitch :emoticon-0136-giggl

I’ve taken a few videos and photos and will try to upload them when I get back. But honestly we were so ****in loud, not heard any away supporters like that at the SOL, nothing even close

All our goals and 2 of Blackburns all came within 10 mins it was just mental and my heart was absolutely pounding, it was all coming together you could just feel it

i had alerts on my phone for all the others scores but there was this massive roar behind the goal and nothing had come through, I thought maybe Boro had scored then there it was millwall 3 Blackburn 4, loads of people around me jumped up including me and the roar just got bigger behind the goal and around the ground as everyone realised we’d done it.

Amazing

My favourite whiskey by a mile, but never mind that, tell us more about your missus giving it to you 30 min ago<laugh>

Pritch 100% made the difference today. Not always been the case, and I think his age will mean if we can make any profit at all...this pre-season is the chance, or you keep him because he's a net gain in the dressing room.

Ekwah was absolutely tremendous today, and I think Michut is a great player. It says a lot when you've got a player like Michut, who has barely put a foot wrong and he's fighting for his place. Happy days.

Id still be going for neil, he does the dirty work for the team. Loved when the commentor described him as the heart beat of the team - its so true. The Evans injury has been a blessing, Neil has had to mature n become a leader in the middle. Michut n ekwah have been given game time and both impressed and got better with every game

Pritch was class today and he has that in his locker, i just dont think hes consistent enough now but love his workrate n attitude.

The thing I like about Ekwah is he just looks an absolute beast as well. He's exactly the player our fans ask for every single transfer window forever.

A few knocked him after his first few games but its pretty clear when he comes into his own he's going to be one hell of a player.

It's early days I know, but has there been a signing we've made since KLD came in that hasn't worked out?
There is definitely a lot less chance of failure now with all of the background work done by the recruitment team. Credit to KLD and Speakman for investing and recruiting the right recruiters is suppose.

I haven't a ****ing clue who we will get in the summer, I doubt the vast majority will have heard of most of them. I hadn't a clue who Ba, Michut, Benette, Ekwah and Lihadji were.
