No, definitely not a walk in the park. They are a very good team and typically play high energy. But every team can have a bad day, like they are today.
this is it.. if they don’t have CL to play for the stakes aren’t as high for them. They will still qualify for EL though I reckon.
Everton will get beat by Man City in their next game, a heavy defeat doesn't set them up well for their 2 remaining games, away at Wolves, then home to a resurgent Bournemouth team. They still may finish the season on 32 points which will be them down.
The distance to away games will be reduced next season at least Interesting bit this morning- if boro and the unwashed get the final it’s the day before we play Chelsea away
Why? Brighton just had a bad result, but they've been extremely strong the rest of the season. Leicester look very bad, and we've comfortably beaten them twice this season already. Chelsea should be easy, but Leeds will have got a bit of a buzz from getting a decent result Vs City (despite losing)....still for me, Allardyce has arrived way too late to make a change at Leeds.
Who cares about Everton?I wouldn't think Chelsea would be easy, they just won a game and last game of the season at home will not be easy,I for one would rather it all done and dusted before that match!
Everton are safe, no way they're dropping. There aren't any players at Everton I would be remotely interested in grabbing on the cheap anyway, completely talentless. Leicester on the other hand, I am positive Maddison has a relegation claus; if Leicester drop we could easily nab him for £60m. We need him too, so if we qualify for Europe and Ashworth continues to penny pinch, I will be ****ing furious. Ward-Prowse from Saint's is linked and would be cheap as chips in the grand scheme of things. Brings something new to set pieces, has talent, works hard. He's our type of player. Leeds or Forest? Wouldn't take anyone from there.
Everton are going to escape unless newcastle **** up and I don't want Newcastle to **** up ...sadly I can't have everything
Steve Bruce had his cake, and everyone else's, and ate the lot.! He was the exception to the old rule.
Remember the season we went down ... Lol, which one you ask? 08/09. We got a fantastic home win over Middlesbrough near the very back end of the season, dragging our carcass out of the ditch. It genuinely looked as if we were safe. A complete collapse followed and we went down.
Remember it well thats when Howard Web shafted us against Fulham at home, chalking off a perfectly good goal by Viduka saying there was pushing on Shwartz when in fact you seen it on TV when it was the goalkeeper who was fouling our player the goal should have stood or a penalty to us it had been pointed out on the TV for the following 3 days that Newcastle had been pushing in the box against the Boro when we scored Howard Web made his own call to disallow the goal on what might be happening rather than what actually happened where have I seen this again (Crystal Palace this season)
