Depends on how much both teams want it
We’ve had a reasonable end to the season so it would be nice to end on a high although QPR appear to have turned the corner just in time
Up the City !

How QPR shape up
Here's how the visitors line up this afternoon and a return for two former City players in Chris Martin and Albert Adomah.

A few stats
  • QPR are looking to complete their first league double over Bristol City since the 2002-03 campaign under Ian Holloway.
  • The away team has won each of the last six league meetings between QPR and Bristol City, a run stretching back to February 2020.
  • QPR have won their final league game in three of the last four seasons (D1), one more than in their previous 14 campaigns (W2 D1 L11).
  • Bristol City haven’t won their final league game of the season in any of the last seven seasons (D2 L5) since hammering Walsall 8-2 in League One in 2014-15.
  • QPR have won each of their last two league games, as many as in their previous 27 combined (W2 D8 L17). They haven’t won three in a row since October under former manager Michael Beale.

A fairly bright first half by City and this is a game we look like we should win, even though it's an end of the season match with nothing relying on the result. I know Max has saved us many time this season but I still see aspects of his game that concern me for next time out and those would be his tendency to distribute the ball into dangerous areas putting his defence under pressure. Sometimes his kicking under pressure leaves a lot to be desired and although he tends to look calm there are many times where he fluffs his lines. We should possibly have scored at least twice but poor last pass decisions were off key and so the chance went begging and hopefully we can stomp on in the second half.
