All you Republicans seem to get politics and the royal family muddled up.
The national anthem has nothing to do with who's in government.

I’m not a Republican. I support the right for people to wave a small flag and eat a sausage roll under a rainy gazebo.
 
The Heysel disaster they commemorate every year and have a memorial for. Not that it has much to do with anything.

When did they put the plaque up? About 10 years ago after criticism that they didn't give a stuff about the 39 European fans their fans killed. Hillsborough ultimately forced them to look as if they had a conscience.

Must have been a difficult 20+ years of reflection then but they got there in the end. I guess the difference between the two is that Heysel was caused by fans while Hillsborough was caused by ineptitude and malice of those in charge.
