I voted Labour in this local election because I think they are doing a fantastic job in Manchester (the improvement in local sports facilities etc over the last few years has been amazing) and they and the Greens were the only ones who produced a local manifesto. I was actually considering voting Green until I saw they planned to introduce a 20mph speed limit over the whole city if voted in.

Labour are in at the Welsh assembly.
They are introducing a 20mph speed limit on all current 30mph roads, not just in residential areas.

It'll be a ****ing nightmare.

In the meantime, the roads themselves are falling apart. They spend **** all money on roads or transport and blow it all on crackpot schemes.

Labour are an unmitigated disaster in Wales.

I'm sure it is, London has a tube system and a decent bus service.

Can't speak for Brighton, but I doubt it's as bad as Cardiff and Swansea.

If they want people trundling round at 20mph on open roads, they need to get a decent transport infrastructure in place first.

It might be fine where this is the case, it isn't here.

Yeah Brighton buses are pretty good and despite the high population density the roads are quiet outside of the centre.

It feels illogical to me and maybe the studies have been manipulated to get an outcome the government or whoever wanted but the evidence suggests there’s not much impact on journey times.

The problem here is the bloke in charge, Drakeford.

Senile old God botherer, this is the bloke who thought banning people drinking alcohol would somehow help with Covid. Tried to kill the hospitality industry because it doesn't fit with his own ideals.

His son is a ***** too, who he protects.

Get rid of him and half the problems are solved.
Although both cities will still need a tram system of some sort to solve traffic and road problems. Trying to make the roads unfit for use doesn't really do that.

He's a ****.
