3.1 to Burnley. Kaba to hit the mark again.

I went on the Supporters Club bus to Burnley on the last day of the season, must be 12 years ago, 1.1 draw. Bellars equalised right at the end.

Fancy dress is a tradition for the last away game.

It was surreal taking a pee at the services somewhere near Manchester.

Stood there, minding my own business with Scooby Doo taking a leak to my left and Donald Duck on my right. <yikes>

I had not been drinking or smoking anything exotic. Honestly!!!

I went to our disastrous last game away at Hillsborough (when we missed out on playoffs on last day on goal difference from memory) dressed as the Pope.
Plenty of nuns and "ordinary folk" wanting to kiss my ring that day.
I even went down to the front of the away end to bless the team as they warmed up.

Did us no good sadly.

Lost my faith after that and haven't been inside a cassock since :emoticon-0111-blush

Waiting to see the lineup before predicting... Lots riding on this last game in Division 2.

Have to join in the well deserved praise and thanks for running the league though FFB... Not sure what we would have done without you :emoticon-0139-bow::emoticon-0150-hands<cheers> Diolch / Danke....

Ok, with them wanting the win to cap off a fine season and break through the 100 point mark and us having a bit of a scratch side, I really don't see us winning.

Going to hate myself for this but Clarets 2-1 Bluebirds

Phillogene with a parting goal for us.

So! here we have it.
Rumney Champion, as we know.
Brizzle promoted as Champion and Hilts joins him.....well done both.
William, remote and Turk relegated..........but redemption may come your way depending on who continues next year.
Playoffs are:
Masky v Robbie
and
musty v my good self.

I shall post a new thread to keep all together. As usual, I am happy to receive PMs not to give away some tactical position, if players wish. I shall lodge my prediction with Sparkey and musty can do so as well if he so wishes.

Capaldi Cup will be contested as follows:
Rumney v Ninian
and
irish v BT.

Listen, guys. it is my pleasure to run this league. I'm well set up now and have co-opted administration to help.....altho the little ****er has let me down in recent weeks, which is why I've been late with updates. I keep making the mistake of thinking we'll do it as soon as he gets home from school and he buggers off somewhere else!!!!
I am more than happy to continue next year.
