They're both phenomenal players who would improve us immeasurably but their attitudes would kill the harmony we have. That harmony is a massive part of our success and without it we'd be lower down (to an extent Neymar or Ronaldos talent would not make up imo)
For me, the most nonsensical thing of all of it is that even if we did want them, we couldn't afford them.
The even dafter thing is our transfer strategy isn't finalised until we know what European competition we are in next season! Everything is taken with a giant pinch of salt

I've heard this comment before but don't understand it. We need to upgrade regardless of what competition we are in. Liverpool, Aston Villa, Brighton will all be improving over the summer. It would be a shame to qualify for Europe and then get bounced right out of it the following year. I hope FFP would be the upper limit regardless of finish. Having multiple strategies sounds like a Mike Ashley plan.
I agree however certain players might only come off we’re in the CL therefore we need other plans
I doubt the players we are after are impacted at all by which comp we finish in. We will know who we like the look of and are probably working on all our targets but champs league may make it an easier sell. I don't think we will be targeting different players if we get into champs league Vs europa

Ones a winger Marcus, ones a cm Kephram, one’s an am Rabiot, ones a keeper Bazuna, and a cb from sporting
Rabiot is more of a DM isn't he? More likely him in instead of kephram (exorbitant fee) for that role and someone like Lovro Majer, who is now being rumoured, for the more creative, attacking cm role.
I think he moved to a more attacking role a couple of years ago, don’t really pay attention to be honest.
