Some sort of dressing room spat at this game was discussed here and I've seen it mentioned elsewhere - that seems to be the point at which we really imploded. Did anyone ever find out any more about whether this is true and if so what happened and between who?

Nothing happened except gracia failed to react. Why bring this up now it's long gone.. Bring back Alan Smith.

Something happened is obvious but so many rumours but Ayling is mentioned in more versions than anyone else mobile phone stuff, blamed for bad defending, arguing with Kristensen yada yada yada. But if Cooper is supposed to be the skipper why has he not been mentioned? From being comfortable and controlling the game, plus playing the best football the second half imploded and the rest of the month was a disaster

Should have been 3 points against Palace, maybe a loss or a draw against Liverpool, a win or draw against Fulham and 3 points against Leicester would have seen us right up the table with 37/38 points with 4 games to go and easy street. I would love to find out who was to blame. Gracia, players not listening to him, .

Have to ask Doc, why should we have gotten points there. Agree 3 against Leicester but we're miles behind Palace and Liverpool. No amount of coaching would get our championship standard outfit to getting anything from those two games. We are brutal

It may have involved Firpo. Suddenly dropped from the team, out of nowhere, or indeed Gnonto, who was only bought back due to the fans insistence?

Many saw Palace as one dimensional, and without Saha, they probably woundn't score, plus, apart from their previous game, hadn't won in 10 or 12 games

Maybe I'm missing the point you are trying to make here Ell, but Firpo started against Palace and Gnonto was on the bench

Things up to half time at Palace we’re on track. Footy not brilliant but getting more than the average of one point per game. Most pundits had Leeds down for a win and a season tally of 40 points and then the wheels came off and have stayed off

Don’t mind the pundits Doc. They only watch snippets of us. The fans see every minute and every flaw. No fan except the most optimistic saw 40 as a possibility since World Cup if they’re being honest. Mind you I don’t think anyone expect this total implosion either

The goal conceded seconds before half time changed the match.

Simple really and crap defending from a set piece was the culprit as usual.
