STAR AHOY 14/1 Yarmouth 4.30
Went off at 9/2 on debut which suggests he is quite highly regarded by his powerful yard. He was quite well beaten that day but will have come on bundles for that experience. The main reason for fancying him however is the pedigree. His dam has produced several winners including one for these connections. I expect a very big run.

WISPER 9/1 Brighton 3.20
The case for this one is slightly weaker but she was a marvelously progressive and consistent horse last season. Consequently she is now rated higher than her best winning mark.
On the positive side she won over course and distance on her seasonal debut last season. Her record at Brighton is quite staggering as the form figures read 12111. The experienced Dougie Costello has won on her twice and now replaces the claimer who was on board the last twice. She has a lot more experience than most of the opposition so hopefully that and her track handling will see her to good effect.

Be interesting to see the outcome of the 5 oclock at Yarmouth Miss Gay Kellaway has good pickings here and the 5lb claimer looks a good choice . The odds of 33/1 look a fair ew bet on Margarets Fushia .

Im my current non-existent form, definitely one to avoid. However, just for interest will put-up the Lawman gelding, Letter Of The Law, in the Class-6 Handicap over a mile at Brighton (16:20). Tricky old track is Brighton (remember my old dad used to love going there on his once-a-week day off!) Selection has a squeak if deciding to do his best. Darragh Keenan rides for the John O'Shea stable.

7/2 best price in nearly allt places at time of writing.

Great shout thanks

Funnily enough I said to @stick he would be a better punter if he played more on Betfair SP as well as silly early prices <laugh>
I like to go on the starting price early doors if its good value but the bog now is great as long as you know the times it kicks off .
It is nice to know what you will get back though

My view is that the bookmakers are ultra stingy and it’s getting worse so I’ll wait for Betfair to form properly.

it’s even worse with certain bookmakers only offering BOG to certain people or at certain courses.

Great tipping, Stick, with Wisper. Bravo! <applause>

(Think I'll take a long, long, rest and just back your selections. In fact, I think that's a damn good idea!) :emoticon-0100-smile :bandit:

Betfair Sportsbook and Paddy Prickface both banned me, why would I want to give them my business. When Sportsbook banned me they did say I was still ok to use the exchange. Imagine my reply.

Very good shout. Looked the winner until the final few yards and might have been pushed out of the top 3 on the nod. That’s flat racing for you.

Newcastle 730 profitar rules should step up the extra furlong from lto win here .
6s looks very fair

Hope you kept faith SwanHills. Hacked up there just a short while back.
