Doubt anyone has noticed Scunthorpe getting relegated from the National League, from 2007 to 2011 they were up and down from the Championship.

I think Coventry City have taken the longest to recover the falling from grace, a lot to do with their ground I think. Now currently sitting in the Championship play-offs.

I would love to see Luton in the Premier League.
I hope they win the play offs this time,
They've come so close a couple of times in recent years, but they are a well run club, they haven't been funded on Parachute payments and yet they still find themselves regularly in the top 6 of the Championship.
Plus they are only 25 minutes from my gaff, so I could hope over to watch them play Chelsea. :D

Bradford City were in the Premier League as recently as 2000 and are now down in League 2 but currently in play off positions.

Thoughts and prayers with Ian Botham.

I doubt you are old enough to remember Carlisle United being top of the old first div (Prem) beating Spurs to get there and it was the season Manchester United were in the old Division Two.

Even beating Chelsea that season in a slightly different looking Stamford Bridge compared to today...

Beating Spurs to be top of first Division?

That was quite a bit before my time, but it's nice to see some things never change.

Losing to tiny clubs who we should be battering? Nah, looks just like Stamford Bridge today to me.

Going from Bielsa to Allardyce though.

That's one helluva handbrake turn.

Naaah not really....They were sinking with Bielsa... something had to give. It's how the game works...pretty football alone doesn't cut it...ask Arsenal for a start

Bielsa came in when they were in the championship on the way up...now they find themselves in the trenches in the toughest league in the world

Only one man for the job ahead imo

We'll see about Allardyce, he didn't too well last time. Who was it, West Brom, I can't remember?

My point is it's the polar opposite in footballing style especially for the fans.

It'll be interesting to see what they make of it, even if he keeps them up.

they'll celebrate with him if he keeps them up and then they'll want him gone by October

We know how this works
