the physique is fairly right.

the discipline is not great.

he has a little bit of pace and running in him but at Lisbon he's really not asked to do any creating.

He's not tasked with creating and he wouldn't be expected to do it here either if he's coming to replace Fab. With that said, he's confident on the ball and can dribble as well. Solid all rounder.

we need vertical passing.

If this box midfield is to work both men in 6 slots need to pass forward to the "false 10s"

thats imo the most important thing.

If we play 433 we don't want someone running off up the park.

If we play 3223 (what is this formation really) then they have to sit also. Its the pass that's important.
