What a day! What a performance! What a team! Promotion well deserved.
Looking at our recent run (barring PV) can anyone remember a Town side being more clinical in killing sides?
It wasn't meant as any sort of disrespect, just a comment on how well this side have dealt with what's been put in front of them. We’ve not been in this tier since the 1950s so it’s perhaps doing a disservice to some of our great sides to compare these performances to theirs, but it’s fair to say that we’ve never seen an Ipswich Town side destroy the opposition week after week without even giving goals up like we have for the last couple of months. It’s been as close to perfect as I’ve seen, as though the last decade and a bit never happened and the manner of the football we’re witnessing is in stark contrast to the previous half dozen managers at our football club.

well done on your promotion. Yes we have scraped until teh end, with a small budget its been amazing. See you next season ..Hangover anyone? What a day that was and it will be nice to hear from others how the celebrations, speeches, presentations all went. All difficult to organise in thw general mayhem. I spotted KM getting the bumps!
So, Championship here we come! I expect us to make a few signings over the summer to improve the squad but even if we don't I think we can hold our own in the Championship with what we have.
I hear Plymouth scored a lucky deflected goal.Look forward to playing them next season! While I am pleased for them, it must be said over the last month they have scraped wins!
Lady Luck has been on their side.
How many deflected goals? How many extra time wins?
Perhaps its just they kept going.
So, much to look forward to, ecstatic owners backing the right horse, Suffolk Punch of course! I believe we are top 6 Championship material some will say back to back promotions!
