I bet our stats aren't too different across the season but what I see with my eyes is so much better now than when we were on a poor run of form. We get the ball forward so much quicker, there's so much more variation in our play and in Hurst we have an out ball as showed by his goal last night.
So who's going to our last Home game of this amazing season? And how will you celebrate if we do go up? Lap dancing, Nuggets obviously! Mexican, Spanish wave, old fashioned way, beer in hand, hugging the miserable sod next to him! Pitch invasion, the well behaved Suffolk type, huggers, singers and prancers. The turf is gonna be replaced anyway Madly chanting, singing, praising players, cheering to the rafters? Anyways, best of luck to you all and I am sure you will enjoy a special day out up Suffolk. I will have a beer while foaming at iFollow!
I'm going with the wife tomorrow, so no box trips for me. Hopefully I'll get a lap dance after the match (not at Portman Road, it'd be a bit weird). We're sat up in upper Cobbold, near the North Stand, so I'd have to run down to invade the pitch. I'll probably be more civilised and just clap and cheer. Really looking forward to the match and hopefully we can get automatic promotion.
Im going with 8 others including the neighbours so there possibly could be a drink tomorrow night plus fireworks, so if youre in Hadleigh tomorrow night and see rockets going up its us.
I’ll be there with my father and brother in law.Last year my dad was quite ill and it was touch and go whether we’d even get him to PR again as he has severe mobility problems.Thankfully though he has made a slight recovery and we’ve been able to get him to our usual seats. The football and atmosphere this Season has been a real bonus and a win tomorrow would be the icing on the cake.Enjoy it everyone and……… COYB!!!!
I'm sure Redruth will let you have his box Gaffer, no need to feel left out, remember the old saying....any hole's a goal!!
I shall be sat in front of the box, watching on ifollow, with a few Estrella Galicia's (cracking beer) and a bowl of olives!!
One of my biggest regrets as a town fan that I didn't go on to the pitch after we got to Wembley, I hope tomorrow is similarly memorable.
I’m a bit annoyed that I didn’t book some tickets for this one in the end. I didn’t really think about the celebration / party going on!
I’m a season ticket holder in SBR (north stand) lower. I’ll be there - as long as the transport is ok. Personally, I hope there is no pitch invasion as the supporters player of the year and lap of honour are due to take place and don’t want anything to get in the way of that
Not wanting to sound all pessimistic, but im hoping all the positiveness doesn't come back to haunt us.... 45 years supporting Ipswich has taught me to not carried away until its finally over.
Id agree if we hadn’t beaten Barnsley but with the buffer we have I don’t see us blowing it tomorrow. If we lose and Wednesday win though, that does heap pressure on the final match and then anything could happen. I think we will put in a professional performance again and bring it home.
I share Hampy's confidence. KM will be drilling and instilling the same rigorous disciplined training to prepare them for their final match in front of their wonderful loyal supporters. Be happy for same starting line-up.
I'll be up early to tune in at 7am. Celebrations will probably consist of running around the house madly and getting stern looks from the wife because I'm being too loud. Football can be emotional so there could be a couple of tears of joy too.
I'm also trying to keep a lid on my hopes,50 years as a Town fan has taught me not to count chickens.I hope and pray KMc has got things to such a stage that it will all run smoothly.
Boys boys boys, we are a different beast these days, we've got this, it's in the bag, no way are we choking!
