Spot on. We should just enjoy the next match and see what happens. Watford are mental and anything could happen. But we could even lose to them and still make top six it's so bonkers at the moment.

I was going to start a new thread on this but, here we go ...

... whatever happens, against Watford, and at Preston I believe people will stay behind and cheer the Lads to the rafters.

For once, in most lifetimes, the supporters will believe the players have given everything they have for the love of SAFC.

I usually believe I've put in more effort than the players ...

... this season I feel I've let them down and will make sure I'm at the last two games.

It's weird!

Anybody who thinks we got poor coverage should listen again especially to Jobi Macanuff's summary at the end , "I love watching Sunderland play at the moment " etc and he has done this all season , even Barcelona were mentioned to-day, we are winning friends all over tbh, long may it continue.
One gripe from me is the low marks given in the player ratings by some "experts" to Ekwah who played superbly in the engine room. He was in the thick of things all game his passing was sublime and never put a foot wrong, we have a real gem and another future star here, mark my words.
I did say this on here the first time I saw Clarke and Patterson play so he is already in good company . And furthermore he has a lovely smile .

TBF mate, his opinion on their penalty, the major talking point, stunk ...

... and he never criticised West Brom despite them being shyte.

TBF Luton aren't fighting for the play-offs and neither are Swansea.

true enough although realistically could still sneak in if no one above them gets any more points, got a good run going going but far too late i reckon...probably put them as 'one to watch' next season.

Before I begin my evening with my good friend, Captain Morgan, I'd like to say what a pleasure it is to be part of this forum ...

... there can't be many forums, with so many passionate people who disagree, where things are so resolutely reasonable and polite.

It's clear that there are some totally different views on managers/tactics/selections/ substitutions/players ...

... but debates are carried out with good humour and the ability to consider the contrary view.

Now, lets get some ice on the rim of my glass, throw in some spices and let the Captain do his stuff <cheers>

He is not on a Football Forum tho', but on National TV and he has to be careful in what he says. <laugh> Listen to the after match coverage again , it was very complimentary and featured a full list of our season long injury problems highlighting the brilliant response by the squad in dealing with them. I've never been prouder of our club since the heady days of 1973 tbh and today was something very special it really was , and I'm also sure the future is bright as long as we can hang on to KLD.

He should say what he truly believes unless it's just an exercise to keep his job in which case his views are worthless.

They were totally up West Brom's arse until it was obvious we were far superior.

They kept droning on about the intimidating atmosphere when we made most of the noise <doh>
