Timing All Off

Once more as I venture to visit this board
My timing seems somewhat misplaced,
I had, for a second, just hoped to applaud
A promotional after taste

But I see it's a case of jumping the gun
As goals and points are hard to find,
And despite a Webber/Wagner reunion
It's more like blind leading the blind

Now I haven't followed them closely enough
To proffer a solution here ,
But what happened to those, when the going's tough
Who stand firm, and don't disappear

Yesterday's shambolic display did seem
To remind me of yesteryears ,
When visiting forces, whatever the team
Would send Carrow Road into tears

One extra quirk that I noticed post match
A certain R. Martin, a hit,
At Swansea, and one of the very best of a good batch
When pulling on the yellow kit.

Could do with more like him

It's predictable how it will end.

Really do hope I'm wrong and there's a spectacular sting in the tail, but somehow I doubt it

No, that was news to me, RIP
We're all sadly going that way,
I see he was one year younger than me,
And resident in the US of A.


That's what I've just learned, I'd otherwise lost track of him.
