Football is about winning. If you win enough matches then promotion is acheived unless your already in the highest division in which case you become champions of your nation. The counter side to that is losing too many games and relegation which is bad. Happy to clear that up for everybody.
Don’t get the team selection and don’t get the subs or the tactics. Bamford was a pointless addition, Cooper made a couple of blocks and tackles but could also have given away a pen, he’s done. We lacked anything going forward and why we needed Firpo. Wober should have been LCB, Sinisterra and Gnonto way too good to leave on the bench. Harrison isn’t as good as Suni or Willie and Summerville is better coming on later as he started well, faded, came back in and fluffed his lines again. Aaronson isn’t beefy enough and easy to go over. sorry folks but Gracia is losing the fans and I bet the dressing room too
Half time in the 3pm KO's Palace 0-0 Everton Liverpool 0-0 Forest Leicester 1-1 Wolves We're still 16th as it stands.
I’m taking about why Drameh’s career shouldn’t be his main priority? He isn’t getting picked here so why should he be “loyal” (when we’re calling for the head of Aaronson, Mckennie, Meslier, Firpo, Bamford, to name a few off the top of my head)?
Ok fair point and to some extent I'd agree but then you can't have it both ways. Drameh seemed to caused massive dressing room unrest amongst the U23's though which if true is unacceptable. Baffling why some fans are desperate to see him in Leeds shirt but that's just my opinion.
Massive 2nd half coming up for Leicester. They seem capable of winning this match so let's see how they get on.
“Seemed to” we don’t know. He wants to play first team football. It’s a short career. I’m not desperate to see him play for us, I just don’t begrudge him wanting to play first team football or see him as disloyal for not wanting to be third choice right back for a team with one of the worst defensive records for two seasons running.
So we are good at something then ..... it's that unbelievable it's bordering on funny ...Leeds,Leeds are falling apart again, again, again
Not true and by a very long way. Cody was one of the most popular players in the 23s as was and drafted into Bielsa’s first team squad. He wasn’t playing any football for the 23s and spent his time on the first team bench getting zero minutes. He spoke to Jacko and was told his pathway needed to be via the first team. Another couple of months and due to injuries the first team bench was now filled with our best U23 players. Not being able to speak to Bielsa through normal Chanel’s Drameh asked him about getting minutes when they were walking off the training ground. He was told to be patient and carry on learning. He then asked his agent to speak to Orta as he had played no real football for months. His agent was told the same by Orta as Cody was told by Bielsa. Drameh then requested to go out on loan. The 23s were now really in trouble as Summerville, McKinstry, Joffy, Greenwood, Drameh, Cresswell, Hjelde, Jenkins were now all on the first team bench and not playing. We got relegated but Drameh got to play football and did well. We have since seen requests for loans from a few of those players and Marsch shat on them and Drameh when he came back. I can assure you those same 23s are all in contact with each other even today and all feel they lost at least 6 months football
Maybe he was thrown under the bus a little by Bielsa during that January press conference, it certainly didn't help that's for sure.
Fair points Doc but all the other players knuckled down and got on with it, plus most have signed new long term contracts apart from one guy.
