Last night was MOM for me cracking game great passing-class is permanent-Fitness levels are good. Do we keep or let him go.
Keep, hopefully we’ll have enough cover that he won’t have to play as much as this season, but he’s a really good backup with his main job being coaching. His attitude is great for the youngsters to see as well, and he has bags of experience and know how to pass on as well. I’d definitely keep him.
Totally agree, give him another year, a bit of on pitch experience is sometimes a match winner and it gives our younger elements an example to follow in their own development and good habits.
Yeah did well last night, as Angelic said, will help develop the young players....worth at least a year imo
There have been times this season when I wondered what he was doing here but last night he was a standout for me and the decision to keep him for another campaign should be easy. The position of player/special coach would fit the bill nicely because he brings experience par excellence with fitness levels to still offer heart and soul to the mix.
I was never a a fan of his we always seemed to lose ... mind you we still are!!! but now he seems the best of a poor bunch!
He gets his info from BBC sports page. You know that company that no one likes or believes. I’m more surprised he didn’t say sign him up for 4 years with a years option like every other player.
so we are poor at scoring goals then! ROD if wit was sh** and didnt stink we could use yours for toothpaste ... you forgot the
But we aren’t poor per say, which is what your post stated, if on the other hand your statement about king was that he is the best of a poor bunch at scoring, then that statement isn’t correct either
no not about scoring on the night he performed well when those that were expected failed .. NP's take!
Wrong again. NP’s criticism was of subs not having an impact, not giving enough, reading between the lines he was actually criticising Scott, I agree with him, I actually criticised Scott on here even before NP made the same point. It was however game specific to his performance at Sheffield Utd. My impression was maybe all the recent attention had gone to Scott’s head as he seemed billy big bollocks, which in fairness to the lad is not typical.
