He wasn't anywhere near motm or an 8. But we do it all the time with young players..... Just build the up way to much way to quick. Kids got potential and it's great to see him get game time. But I doubt very much he'll be a regular starter or on the bench weekly when we have a fully fit squad next season. I wouldn't be shocked to see him go out on loan either.
If he could go out on loan to an ipswich, derby, peterbrough, a team challenging at the top end of l1 next season
I think it'd be beneficial
I swear you've been going way OTT recently. The lad will be involved next season and after a few years in the lower leagues, a season being in and around the first team will be great for him. He's played 39 times for Oldham so he's not a kid with no experience
Yep, I was surprised to see he'd played that many games already, mainly in L2. Anyone know why they then loaned him out to Radcliffe? On the face of it, seems bizarre. Maybe he wouldn't sign a new contract and was looking for a move away?I swear you've been going way OTT recently. Just something else we see quite differentlyI don't think it's daft, he'd be my MotM as well.

How long do I stay on your naughty step?
What was OTT about what I said?
If he's only going to get serious game time with us then as I said, he should stay. But if it's only 5/10mins here and there then I think a 6month loan would be better.... Failing to see what OTT about it ?
Well that's another thing we can disagree on! #thingscomein3'sI don't have a naughty step.
Because he's starting games with us and looking decent. I don't understand why there should be any talk of him being dropped and then loaned out. It's just nonsense.
Macca played on the right first half but on the left second , got caught there on his own , first half he didn’t . Was he covering for Greaves who to be honest I can hardly recall in the game. It’s not criticising him it’s just what I saw .

Baz's ratings - 5's for Pelkas and Elder (and all the subs), 6's for everyone else, other than Slater and Traore with 7 and Vaughan with 8.
He wouldn't get a game for them. Promotion is the be-all and end-all for those sides, they want proven players and won't waste time developing kids for other clubs.
He'd be going Shelbourne if anything
The Oldham MessiNot sure about that. I agree he wasn’t motm or an 8 but he definitely looks first team standard and not just a promising kid who might play bit parts here and there off the bench.
5/10 minutes!! 9our subs are always 64-67 minutesIt he's going to continue to get decent game time then a loan is ridiculous, but if he's not going to get more then 5/10mins here and there then he's not going to progress. He's got the potential that's obvious. But he can't stand still. He needs first team games to continue progressing.
Sorry Pelkas fans but he’s not only championship class he’s not even league one class
Is he starting due to him forcing his way in our is he starting due to injuries and attitude of others? He's done well, but look at the players Boro had in his position last night....would you start him over any of them?
But we don't have that calibre of attackers and we won't next season either. While our strikers are out, all our wingers and attacking midfielders are available and he's looking good. He's certainly as good as any wide option we have at the club
