It’s like at school, when the teacher who happens to take the football team pins up the team, in a rough formation, on Friday lunchtime for the game on Saturday morning. And that is the sum total of tactical input.
Just realised Huddersfield have to play Cardiff and then Reading on last day of season. Can’t work out if that’s good or bad for us?
We can't say there isn't a strategy, it's probably the wrong one but there is one, trouble is we always concede and blood and guts might not be enough
Last day: Burnley v Cardiff Huddersfield v Reading QPR v Bristol City Wigan v Rotherham I think we have to beat Stoke and Bristol City to stay up...
If, big IF, we get at least two points in front of both Reading and Huddersfield on last day, we will stay up.
Reading have a home fixture against Wigan ! That's the game that'll send us down. We had to win tonight
Penalty all day long, right in front of us. Stroud said he didn't see it, and looked to lino, who didn't give it. How three red cards weren't shown to Norwich players I don't know....terrible hacks in first half .... foul on Lowe looked as though he was through on goal too Much better performance overall. Adomeh has lost it....but is he playing with a broken wrist. Nearly all our players no are playing with injuries, back from injury, not fit... but probably true of all teams tbh I still blame the Xmas countdown gremlins. We can beat Stoke and Bristol. Let's do it.
Disagree HB. I'm going for Wigan to at least draw that game. They've shown some steel in beating Stoke and they tend to draw a lot of games that they should have lost on paper. Hopefully, Fakes will rue the 6 lost points.
My worry, considering our ridiculous form, is that a draw is about as good as we can get. We will lose to Burnley and at best we may draw with Stoke and Bristol. Reading would then only have to beat Wigan for us to go down. All theoretical, I know, but totally realistic in my opinion.
Can't see it pal, if Ince was still in charge maybe, but the new guy has made a difference in the 2 games he's been in charge in my eyes. To hold Luton who have been flying with only 10 men is a massive result in my eyes. We had to win tonight and were unlucky not to be 2 up at the break. But everyone could see where the danger was coming from from Norwich. Drewe was getting roasted and Lowe was giving him no help. Ainsworyh changed **** all at half time and we saw the result. Then when we desperately needed to score, he waited way too long and then brought on Anos and Adomah ! Diabolical in my eyes, I don't care how badly Willock has been performing lately, to not bring him and Richards on with 25 mins left was the stuff of pure twattery. I was going absolutely mental and had to have a large cognac to stave off another strike or heart attack. I'm sure these ****ers are intent on finishing me off this season !
The nightmare scenario is we are two points behind Reading and Huddersfield on the last day, with our goal difference they could play out a cosy draw and we'd be f*cked...
When I saw Adomah coming on I sat shaking my head. FFS. Willock would do so much more. Poor decisions by GA.
I tend to agree, however at certain points they actually try and play footy, then they decide to hoof it into RowZ, out for a goal kick or not not 50yds of our nearest player. I get the fact that due or our total inability to defend you would hoof it like u are playing for the under11s, however we do have skilful players that were at the summit a few months ago, so it is highly confusing what GA is trying to achieve
