We need to be careful of hubris, ie going into this game thinking it'll be a walkover due to the fact that Spurs are a massive pile of stinking hairy dogshit right now.

Howe seems very good at keeping players focused and level headed, and he'll know the importance of this game. Dominate midfield like we did against Man U and we should be able to rip these clowns apart.

Hopefully we'll hear news that kane and son are both injured

Does it even matter? When they get no service cos the rest of the team plays like a bunch of drunk pensioners with broken legs, they could have Messi up front and it'd make no difference.

Yes because kane scores goals and son has showed signs he's getting back to his lethal best.

I'd say without that pair we'd be laughing.

Son's scoring is way off this season - 8 Prem goals in 29 games.

Kane always great, but they leak goals like there's no tomorrow and their midfield is dogshit.

Got a week's rest for this one, so just rest and recharge and go at them full throttle.

He started badly but is coming into form...he's a very good player

Going for 3-2 here to us.

We look ****e a the back and bound to concede, but they look even worse.

Could sense a 3-2 or 4-3 here.

3-1 Toon... We've had 2 really bad performances in 18 months, so I'm not going to self implode and believe we'll be **** from here on in. Saturday was painful to watch.

I think we'll be back in the driving seat for this, and need the Man U atmosphere to push us on with 100% uniform positivity in the stadium.

Praying for a draw as that in my eyes is good enough to keep the pressure on them to pick up results to catch us.

Do feel the game is being blown out of proportion slightly as we've lost a game last weekend - THE HORROR! To be fair though it was a horror show on Saturday and by far and away our worst performance of the season but even if we lose 5-0 to spurs we are still above them on goal difference, we probably have a slightly favorable run in and a game in hand to boot.

A win would pretty much see us into Europe in my eyes but don't feel the rattle needs to be thrown if it's a loss either.
NUFC next 2 fixtures Everton and Southampton
Spurs next 2 fixtures Man U and Liverpool

1-1 :emoticon-0150-hands

Good point about the atmosphere, the Man U game was great as there was basically no moans or groans from the crowd and everyone was 100% behind the team, even when we missed chances, needs to be the same on Sunday.
